The Diamondback Trace frame is built tough. It's manufactured with forged top and down tubes for maximum durability, but by using aluminum, Diamondback keeps the Trace Sport light and agile; the best of both worlds. Then, they added an SR Suntour NVX suspension fork with 75mm of travel to take the sting out of any unevenness in the pavement. Finally, the addition of Tektro Aries disc brakes slow you down by braking on 160mm rotors instead of the rim. This technology, borrowed from mountain biking, insures that you achieve maximum stopping power, even in the most adverse weather conditions. The Trace Sport, exclusive to Performance, was designed with a Shimano 24-speed drivetrain. Intuitive RapidFire shifters easily change cable tension on the Shimano Acera rear and front derailleurs. The result is a ride that's efficient and requires little to low maintenance.
